What is the theme of the conference "Dancing into the future; practices, insights & innovations"?

The conference aims to explore best practices in dance teaching, with a focus on historical and contemporary approaches, teaching models, and methods at the forefront of dance pedagogy. It also seeks to bring together dance teachers, scholars, researchers, practitioners, and innovators to share insights and explore new ideas in the field.

When and where will the conference take place?

The conference will take place from 19th to 21st January 2024. It will be hosted in Sydney, Australia, specifically in the beautiful spaces of Sydney Dance Company and Bangarra Dance Theatre.

This year, we are inviting our global audience to attend Virtual Sessions of our conference. Sessions are booked individually. Recordings will be made available for a limited time after the sessions take place, so you can join, re-watch, or catch up from anywhere in the world.
